A win-win consultative body to lower the burden of delivery fees for self-employed people will try to reach an agreement again tomorrow.

The win-win consultative body of delivery platform-occupancy companies will try to reach a last-minute agreement on how to cut brokerage fees for Baedal Minjok and Coupang Eats, which were submitted on the 11th at the Seoul Government Complex tomorrow afternoon.

At the 11th meeting on the 7th, public interest committee members asked to submit the final draft by the 11th, suggesting the principle of lowering the maximum brokerage fee rate from the current level but not exceeding the average 6.8% level, and maintaining the current flat rate of KRW 1,900 to KRW 2,900.

Baemin and Coupang seem to have submitted the final draft in accordance with this principle, but it is unlikely to be easy to reach an agreement as the companies' organizations have raised 2-5% differential commission rates.

Earlier, Fair Trade Commission Chairman Han Ki-jung said in a media interview that a conclusion would be reached either way within this week.
