ABC, CBS and NBC "Republicans confirm House majority after Senate"

2024.11.14 AM 05:06
The U.S. Republican Party will win a majority in the House of Representatives in the election, following the U.S. Senate, ABC, CBS and NBC reported.

The Republican Party, which regained its Senate majority status in four years, secured 218 seats, also securing a majority in the 435-seat U.S. House of Representatives.

As the former Republican Party controls both the Senate and the House of Representatives' congressional power, President-elect Donald Trump has put his wings on running state affairs.

In addition, the Supreme Court is composed of six conservative Supreme Court justices and three liberal Supreme Court justices, which is a solid conservative advantage, so the judiciary is also in favor of President-elect Trump.

However, even if Republicans take control of both chambers, they will not have enough seats in the Senate to avoid a filibuster, leaving Democrats still influential in passing Trump's initial budget bill for the second term of the administration.
