At a high school test site in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do, where the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test was held, an accident occurred in which the announcement of the end of the broadcasting room rang 10 minutes early due to an error by a teacher in charge of the broadcasting room.
According to the Jeonju MBC report on the 14th, an announcement was made at the Jeongju High School test site in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do, at around 3:50 p.m. five minutes before the end of the social inquiry exam.
The actual end time of the social search area was 4:05 p.m., and the announcement should have been announced at 4 p.m., but it rang 10 minutes early. The
test site was in chaos, and some test takers immediately protested, saying, "Isn't it an error in the announcement?"
In response, the school informed that a bell ringing error occurred a minute later and said it added a minute to the test.
According to the Office of Education, the announcement was found to have sounded early due to the mistake of the teacher in charge of the broadcasting room.
Earlier last year, a test-taker also filed a lawsuit against the state to compensate 20 million won per person at a test site in Seoul, as the end of the test rang 1 minute and 30 seconds earlier.
