Trump to set up National Energy Conference for Energy Policy...the nomination of the chairman, Burgum.

2024.11.16 AM 06:43
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has set up a National Energy Conference to oversee energy policy and named North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum as interior minister and chairman of the National Energy Conference.

Trump says the National Energy Conference will oversee the way for the U.S. to eliminate bureaucracy in all sectors of the economy, promote private investment, and focus on innovation over regulation to secure an energy advantage.

In the meantime, the U.S. argued that it would lower inflation with its energy advantage, win artificial intelligence arms races with other countries, including China, and expand U.S. diplomatic power to end the war around the world.

It added that the energy advantage would enable the U.S. to sell energy to allies, including all European countries, and make the world a safer place.

The National Energy Council will consist of all government departments and agencies that perform tasks related to the licensing, production, generation, distribution, regulation and transportation of energy, and the chairman of the National Energy Council will also participate in the National Security Council.
