background
Korean baseball has continued its faint hope of advancing to the Super Round with a thrilling come-from-behind victory over the Dominican Republic in the Premier 12.

Our national team was dragged to 6-0 until the top of the sixth inning due to the ball power of the opponent's starter in the early stages, but chased down to 6-4 with opponent errors and consecutive hits in the bottom of the sixth inning.

And in the eighth inning, following Song Sung-moon's timely hit, Park Sung-han hit a two-run triple that separated the right-center, and Choi Won-joon and Hong Chang-ki followed to win 9-6.

Park Young-hyun, who took the mound in the eighth inning, kept the rest of the inning scoreless and kept the victory.

With two wins and two losses, our national team remained in third place in the group with the final game remaining against Australia on Monday.

Japan beat Taiwan 3-1 to win its third straight game, and Taiwan had its first loss after two wins.
