Students from Seoul Women's University held a rally in front of Nowon Police Station today (19th) and criticized Professor A and the school's response to the alleged sexual harassment.
They urged police to close the case without charges, saying that the handwritten poster, which was put up to prevent the cover-up of sex crimes and satisfy students' right to know, has no meaning of defamation.
In September last year, Seoul Women's University imposed a three-month salary cut after receiving a report that Professor A sexually harassed or molested students, and some of the students, who learned about this later, filed a complaint with the school by posting a handwritten poster.
Then Professor A sued the authors for defamation to the police, saying that the handwritten posters posted by the students were false.
Students are continuing to protest inside and outside the school, demanding the dismissal of Professor A.
