Kim stressed that if the current budget is confirmed as it is, it will cause great inconvenience to the public in the broadcasting and telecommunications sectors.

"Even with some increased budgets, it will lose meaning if the functionality to perform normally does not work," he said, adding that it is difficult to accept a 30% cut in the minimum basic expenses.

In particular, he explained that various litigation cost budgets have been cut and that there is a concern that disputes with large platforms at home and abroad cannot be avoided.

He also said it is regrettable that next year's budget did not reflect salaries and job performance expenses for the three vacant standing members.During the discussion of the National Assembly's Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, Acting President Kim
appealed to the National Assembly to fully reflect the budget necessary for the KCC to operate normally, including basic expenses.
