Representative Lee Jae-myung left the National Assembly and said the ruling would be made "in accordance with the law and common sense."

After arriving at the court, he smiled and shook hands with about 60 lawmakers who came out to see him off.

He declined to comment when asked by reporters about his feelings.

After the acquittal, Lee said, "Thank you to the court for restoring truth and justice."

He then stressed that his difficulties will be nothing more than "In the midst of the Changhae", one narrow rice under the sea, and that he thinks it is insignificant compared to the suffering of the people.

He said he would do his best for a better life for the people, and especially toward the ruling party, he suggested that we do not kill and step on each other, but to coexist and go together.

After representative Lee left the courtroom, some lawmakers shed tears.

Lee returned to the National Assembly to attend a closed leadership meeting, and when asked how he felt, he briefly replied, "Sapil-gwi-jeong."
