A fire broke out at a three-story motel in Bongdam-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, at 10:10 p.m. yesterday (25th) and was extinguished in 40 minutes.

Five people staying in the room were seriously injured, 13 were slightly injured, and were taken to a nearby hospital, and 18 people were evacuated.

Among the seriously injured, one person recovered from cardiac arrest, and the other four are known to be life-threatening.

The fire department once issued the first stage of response to mobilize all the fire department personnel because the fire broke out was a lodging facility, and 40 equipment and 120 personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire.
