A woman in her 20s who caused an eight-car collision while driving unlicensed in the middle of Gangnam, Seoul, has been put on trial.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office yesterday (25th) arrested and charged the driver, identified only by his surname Kim, on charges of dangerous driving, running away, and driving without a license.

Prosecutors explained that Kim took psychotropic drugs at the time of the accident, making it difficult to drive normally, so they changed the existing charges of injury to dangerous driving charges.

Earlier on the 2nd, Kim is accused of causing an eight-car collision, including seven vehicles and a motorcycle, while driving unlicensed in Teheran-ro, Gangnam Station, Seoul.

In a police investigation, Kim stated that he had taken tranquilizers at the time of the accident.
