2024.11.27 PM 02:36
It is attracting attention as a stopover for winter migratory birds, with rare birds frequently seen as the water quality of the Taehwa River in Ulsan improves and ecology recovers.

Ulsan City said last month that an endangered species of yellow-billed spoonbill was seen one after another this month, followed by black-headed seagulls and big swans, which are international protection groups.

Since the 8th, Ulsan City has deployed 20 observers every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to observe migratory birds in the winter of the Taehwa River.

In addition, 30 new correspondents in Ulsan are in charge of protecting and recording migratory birds while working in the district and county.

An Ulsan city official said, "We will continue our habitat protection activities by observing and recording winter migratory birds coming to Ulsan with citizens."
