The Marine Corps Command said it conducted a shooting exercise in which the 6th Marine Brigade under the Northwest Island Defense Command fired more than 200 K-9 self-propelled guns for 30 minutes from 1 p.m. today (27th).

During the exercise, the Marines reportedly fired at a virtual target in the western sea, not in the direction of the northern limit line in the northern West Sea.

During the shooting training, navigation warnings were issued for the safety of residents, and safety measures were also taken, including training announcements and the placement of evacuation guides for residents.

The Marine Corps explained that it will continue to increase its firepower management capabilities and solidify its military preparedness through regular drills.
