Amid the heavy snow warning in the central region, the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters tentatively counted that two people were killed and 10 people were evacuated as of 11 p.m. last night.
There were 969 firefighting activities, including 12 isolated citizens, and emergency services were carried out on 33 people, and 933 safety measures were taken.
Out of a total of 61 cases, 46 cases have been restored due to a series of power outages.
As of 2 p.m. yesterday, the Central Disaster Headquarters operated the second stage of the Central Disaster Headquarters and raised the heavy snow crisis warning to the 'alert' stage.
The heavy snow caused 208 flights and 89 ferries to be canceled, and access to 335 sections of 14 national parks was closed.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters asked each local government to focus on preventing damage such as traffic congestion on the way to and from work, multiple crashes on icy roads, and pedestrian safety accidents.
