U.S. President-elect Trump's meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the first term of power in the past also aimed at receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.

President-elect Trump has been recommended as a candidate for the award next year.

"Trump has contributed greatly to world peace."

" You can do more in the future."

It was Oleksandr Merezko who sent the Nobel Peace Prize recommendation letter to the Nobel Committee.

Member of the Ukrainian ruling party, Servant of the People.

In September 2020, Israel's diplomatic relations with Arab countries such as Bahrain and Sudan under the "Abraham Agreement" were attributed to Trump, and he cited it as a reason for his recommendation.

He praised the U.S. export of anti-tank missiles to Ukraine during Trump's presidency as an example of its leadership for world peace.

Rep. Merezco revealed his intention to recommend the Nobel Peace Prize to local media.

"I want to get Trump's attention and use it as an opportunity to help Ukraine survive," he said.

Rather than a pure recommendation, we will not cut off the supply of weapons to Ukraine, which is at war with Russia.

Russia's state-run TAS news agency has called it a "courtesy attempt" to change Trump's mind, which is likely to halt military aid to Ukraine.

There is also an analysis that it uses Trump's entrepreneurial tendency to like transactions based on profit.

The Washington Post also reported that Ukrainian politicians and businessmen are trying to persuade Trump with baits such as natural gas and lithium buried in Ukraine.

During the election, Trump declared a "swift end to the war" in Ukraine and expressed skepticism about the current Biden administration's military aid.

As he previously sought the Nobel Peace Prize through negotiations with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during his first term in office, he is expected to pay attention to the same reason for the rapid conclusion of the war in Ukraine at the beginning of his term.
