Actor Kim Sung-eun, a former broadcaster and entertainment major at Dongduk Women's University, is suffering from malicious comments after criticizing the protests of her alma mater students.
Kim Sung-eun said on his personal SNS on the 2nd, "Those who oppose the protests of his alma mater, including himself, have their own reasons and have the right to freely express their opinions."
"I am suffering from all kinds of ridicule and harassment for not standing in solidarity with you, an unspecified majority, but it has nothing to do with me. I spoke out just one word and the reaction to it came back with a thousand violent words," he said calmly, describing the situation suffering from malicious comments.
"Anything that goes against the law for the school or me will eventually be revealed through the ruling," he said.
Finally, he added, "I hope you guys are also okay."
Earlier, Kim Sung-eun criticized the students' protest against Dongduk Women's University's transition to co-education, saying, "Stop the low-quality, low-level forced protest."
