The Korean Writers Association, one of the representative literary groups in Korea, called for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol, saying that the declaration of martial law last night is a challenge and betrayal of the people and the Constitution.

The Korean Writers Association issued a statement today (4th) and stressed that last night's declaration of martial law should be brought to justice as it is clear that it is a criminal act that tramples on the constitution without having to list and refute it one by one.

In particular, President Yoon declared martial law and mentioned the "insurrection plan," and stressed that he could no longer recognize him as president, saying he should look in the mirror and shout who committed such anti-state acts.
