Participants in the general meeting told YTN that Yoo Young-ha and others mentioned the case of former President Park Geun Hye's impeachment and said it was necessary to consider the re-creation of the government.

The ruling party is expected to hold another general meeting of lawmakers in the afternoon to discuss further after waiting for an emergency meeting of the party.

This declaration of emergency martial law, which does not comply with any requirements, is a 'insurrection act' that is a serious violation of the constitution and law.

At the same time, he said he would start impeachment proceedings if he did not step down on his own.

Together with other opposition lawmakers, they held an emergency meeting called "Calling for the Resignation of President Yoon Suk Yeol and Promoting Impeachment" and started a full-fledged public opinion campaign, so let's listen to their remarks.

Six opposition parties, including the Democratic Party, the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, the New Reform Party, the Progressive Party, the Basic Income Party, and the Social Democratic Party, also jointly proposed impeachment about an hour ago.

The opposition party's plan is to report the impeachment bill to the plenary session tomorrow (the 5th) early in the morning and put it to a vote as early as the day after tomorrow.

The resolution must be made within 72 hours after 24 hours, and at least two-thirds of the lawmakers in the National Assembly must approve it.

As it is difficult for the opposition party to meet the requirements alone, it is also demanding the ruling party to participate in the impeachment.

Rep. Lee Joon-seok of the New Reform Party told reporters at the National Assembly that after personally communicating with five or six ruling party lawmakers, he had no choice but to follow the will of the people, and predicted that the impeachment bill is highly likely to pass.
