Some objections at the Cabinet meeting on 'emergency martial law deliberation'

Ahead of Yoon Suk Yeol's declaration of emergency martial law, Prime Minister Han Deok-soo and some members of the State Council reportedly expressed their opposition.President

Yoon presided over a Cabinet meeting last night (3rd) with Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, Public Administration and Security Minister Lee Sang-min, Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yeol, Unification Minister Kim Young-ho, and Health and Welfare Minister Cho Kyu-hong attending and deliberated on the declaration of martial law.

Some members of the State Council are said to have attended without knowing the agenda of the State Council and expressed their opposition to the declaration of martial law.

There are 21 members of the Cabinet, including the president, the prime minister, and 19 members of the State Council, and the quorum of decision and decision is 11 and 8, respectively.
