The Prime Minister's Office said discussions were held on our domestic situation, strengthening the Korea-U.S. alliance, and the North Korean nuclear issue.

Han explained that all future state affairs will be thoroughly carried out in accordance with the Constitution and laws and emphasized that he will continue to maintain and develop the Korea-U.S. alliance without wavering.

He also said it is important to solidify the South Korea-U.S. joint defense posture at a time when North Korea's nuclear threats and cooperation between North Korea and Russia are intensifying.

President Biden also trusted South Korea's democracy and evaluated its resilience, responding that the ironclad Korea-U.S. alliance remains unchanged and that he will make efforts with South Korea to strengthen cooperation between South Korea, the U.S. and Japan.
