A man in his 60s, the captain of a two-ton fishing boat, was found dead at 12:10 p.m. today (15th) off the coast of Jeongji Port in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
Earlier, the Pohang Coast Guard conducted a search operation at around 9:40 a.m. after receiving a report that a person was drifting in the sea about 180m away from the port.
It was found that A drove a fishing boat out to sea to fish around 9 a.m.
