Consumers need to be careful as the maximum volume of some wireless headphones is found to exceed safety standards.
As a result of testing and evaluating the quality of 10 wireless headphones by the Korea Consumer Agency, the maximum volume of iRiver exceeded the standard value of 100 dBA (weighted decibels).
As for the price, iRiver was the cheapest at around 38,000 won, and Apple was the most expensive at around 770,000 won, which differed by up to 20 times by product.
After fully charging the battery, JBL had the longest continuous playback time of 88 hours, and Apple had the shortest playback time of 23 hours.
Five products, including Bose, BRITZ, Sony, and Apple, have excellent sound reproduction and external noise removal performance, which are the core quality of wireless headphones.
The products with excellent price-performance were found to be Brits and Philips.
Detailed quality comparison information is available on the Consumer 24 (www.consumer.go.kr ) website.
