LG Exceeds First Salary Cap...Power generation fund of 1.2 billion won imposed

For the first time, professional baseball LG has handed over the salary cap and paid 1.2 billion won in the baseball development fund.

KBO announced that LG exceeded the total annual salary limit of KRW 2.4 billion and the salary cap of KRW 11.4 billion as a result of adding up the top 40 annual salaries for each club this season.

Under the system introduced last year, LG has to pay half of the amount to the Baseball Development Fund.

All the rest of the clubs did not exceed the salary cap.
