The Seoul Central District Court has postponed the sentencing date of soccer player Hwang Ui-jo, who was put on trial for illegal filming, to February 14 next year.

Hwang's first trial sentence was originally scheduled to be issued today (18th), but the hearing was resumed as the prosecutor applied for a change in the indictment, and the sentencing date was postponed.

The prosecution said Hwang deposited 200 million won in the name of the settlement, even though the victim clearly stated that he had no intention of reaching an agreement, and stressed that it should not be considered in favor of sentencing.

The prosecution also demanded a four-year prison term for Hwang. In his closing statement,

Hwang said, "I would like to apologize once again, and I would appreciate it if you could take care of me this time only."
