It was belatedly known that actor Seo Hyo-rim did not receive about 100 million won from her former agency.According to broadcasters and legal circles on the 18th, Seo Hyo-rim did not receive about 89 million won in settlement for drama and film appearances and advertising fees from May 2021 to July 2022.

Among them were advertising fees filmed in 2021, MBC drama "Red End of Clothes," 2022 movie "In Dream," and YouTube filming fees.

Mazique's CEO Kim even wrote a memorandum saying he would start settlement in July 2022, but his promise was not kept.

Seo Hyo-rim filed a lawsuit for a contract payment, and in February last year, Judge Lee Baek-kyu of the Seoul Central District Court's Civil 96th Division ruled that Mazique and CEO Kim should pay the unpaid amount.

Nevertheless, a year and 10 months later, no money has been paid. As an annual interest rate of 12% was applied according to the court's decision, the amount of money Seo Hyo-rim should receive increased to 120 million won.

Seo Hyo-rim said, "We also applied for dispute mediation arbitration with the Korea Entertainment Management Association in October this year, but only got an answer from CEO Kim that he would pay back 700,000 won per month."

Meanwhile, Seo Hyo-rim's mother-in-law, the late Kim Soo-mi, also reportedly suffered from unpaid appearance fees during her lifetime. The production company of Kim Soo-mi's musical "My Friendly Mom," which appeared for 14 years from 2010 to April, has not received any fees since last year as it has been embroiled in a plagiarism dispute. Kim Soo-mi reportedly suffered from extreme stress while preparing a lawsuit against the production company.
