In the midst of impeachment, doctors' groups and the government are having the worst relationship.

Although doctors' groups and opposition politicians have resumed talks with difficulty, it is unclear whether the tight parliamentary conflict in the impeachment situation can be resolved.

After the declaration of the emergency martial law, doctors' organizations were excluded from all discussions with the government due to opposition to the decree's "dealing of majors," but calls for "nullity of the source of medical staff increase" and "stopping recruitment of new students" remain.

[Choi Chang-min / National Medical School Professors Emergency Response Committee Chairman (last 18th): Yoon Seok-yeol's increase to 2,000 medical schools in 2025 is illegal and invalid]

However, despite the impeachment, the recruitment of medical schools and the selection of majors are taking the planned steps.

The government has decided to postpone the announcement of the second implementation of medical reform scheduled for the end of this year, but has expressed its willingness to continue the push.

[Cho Kyu-hong / Minister of Health and Welfare (last 19th): We will do our best to promote medical reform to save essential and local medical care.]

To overcome the situation, the doctor's group modified the interlocutors to the political circles instead of the government.

We held a meeting with the chairman of the National Assembly's Health and Welfare Committee and the chairman of the Education Committee, which are opposition lawmakers, and decided to communicate closely to resolve the prolonged medical crisis.

[Park Dan / Chairman of the Emergency Response Committee of the Korean Council of Major (last 19th): I think there was a channel where we could communicate and communicate about what we thought was a problem, so we are looking at it positively]

Sooner or later, we will also push for a debate involving doctors and ministers.

[Kim Young-ho / Democratic Party of Korea (Chairman of the National Assembly Education Committee, last 19th): Let's have a debate as soon as possible to let the public know more and gather wisdom in the course of the debate..]

However, it remains to be seen whether the dialogue window will serve as a breakthrough to resolve the tight parliamentary conflict, as they have not agreed to stop the increase or form a consultative body.
