Natalie Lupnow, a 15-year-old girl who shot and killed a teacher and a student at a Wisconsin school on the 16th, was confirmed to have had an unfavorable family history.
NBC News in the U.S. has released court documents that show that Lupnow's parents married in 2011, Lupnow was born and divorced in 2014, reunited in 2017, but broke up again in 2020.
As the parents went through a divorce and reunion, a second divorce and custody battle, Lupnow had to travel between her father and mother's house and seek help from a psychotherapist, NBC News said.
Aside from the shooting, the FBI has arrested 20-year-old Alexander Papendorf of California on charges of plotting a plan to attack Lupnow and government agencies with explosives.
Earlier on the 16th, a student, Lupnow, shot a pistol at a private school in Madison, Wisconsin, killing a 14-year-old student and teacher, injuring six, and sending the U.S. society into a state of shock a week before the Christmas holiday.
