The Constitutional Court has sent documents to proceed with the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol several times, but the return raises concerns that the trial will be delayed.

The Constitutional Court believes the process cannot be delayed further and has announced its final position on whether to consider serving tomorrow (23rd),

Yoon, are you still not receiving documents on the impeachment trial?

[Reporter]
Yes, the Constitutional Court has continued to send documents and preparation orders related to the judgment, including the impeachment resolution, to President Yoon since the 16th, but it is still not being served.

The Constitutional Court originally planned to receive a response from President Yoon as early as tomorrow and prepare for the hearing in earnest.

Constitutional judges are reportedly reviewing documents on President Yoon's impeachment trial on weekends and organizing their opinions,

But problems arise from the first step, delivery, and there is a growing concern that the trial will be delayed.

The Constitutional Court will announce its final position on how to deal with the delivery issue tomorrow afternoon (23rd).

A method of considering that it has been served a week after electronic service, or a public service service posted on the Constitutional Court bulletin board,
Kindergarten delivery, which is believed to have been delivered by placing documents at the
delivery site, is being discussed as a countermeasure.

The Constitutional Court plans to proceed with the first hearing preparation date scheduled for the 27th without any change.

However, even if the service is served and the representatives of President Yoon's side attend, the trial could be idle, claiming that time is needed to review the documents,
It is difficult to rule out the possibility of further delays in the proceedings of the trial if the
delegation is not appointed or is absent on the upcoming date.

So far, I'm Kim Tae-won of YTN at the Constitutional Court.
