An isolated hiker was rescued in 10 hours after a crash in the freezing cold of minus 10 degrees Celsius.

Fires continued in various places, including Gangneung, Gangwon-do and Gyeongsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and on the second Gyeongin Expressway, a driver who was handling a contact accident was hit by a taxi and killed.

In the pitch-black darkness, rescuers help someone on a snow-covered mountain.

A 37-year-old A, who fell and was isolated near Baegunbong Peak in Yongmunsan Mountain, was rescued in 10 hours.

"Be careful, it's slippery."

Mr. A fell after climbing the mountain when a tree he leaned to rest broke.

It was impossible to move due to injuries around the hip bone, and it fell to snow at minus 10 degrees Celsius, making it impossible to transfer helicopters.

The fire department dispatched rescuers to rescue Mr. A at around 3:10 a.m. after conducting a night search.

The beach, which was crowded with tourists, was covered in black smoke.

At around 2:20 p.m., a fire broke out at a convenience store on Gangmun Beach in Gangneung, Gangwon Province.

No one was hurt, but the heavy smoke kept tourists from accessing it for a while.

The front part of the car is shattered, and the floor is covered with debris.

A man in his 50s, who was handling a contact accident on the second Gyeongin Expressway at around 6:30 a.m., was hit by a taxi and died.

Police are investigating the accident based on black box videos.

A 17-story apartment building in Gyeongsan-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, caught fire after a Christmas party, which is believed to have been careless in handling candles.

In this fire, a resident in his 60s was taken to a hospital after inhaling smoke, and the house burned down.
