Anyang Branch of the Suwon District Court rejected an application for the preservation of evidence for servers and equipment of the Central Election Commission filed by former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun today (23rd).
Former Minister Kim's lawyer claimed that the investigative agency is publishing false information that all suspicions about fraudulent elections have been resolved, and that the court has never submitted a NEC server in any election invalidation lawsuit.
He explained that he applied for the preservation of evidence to prove the legitimacy and necessity of emergency martial law.
Evidence preservation is a means of securing evidence to be used in future trials, and if the evidence is not preserved in advance, it can be claimed even before trial in case of difficult circumstances.
