Gyeonggi Southern Commissioner to Investigate Suspect's Identification of Police Deployment in the Election Commission

The National Police Agency's National Investigation Headquarters called Kim Joon-young, head of the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency, who deployed personnel to the National Election Commission during the emergency martial law, as a suspect for the first time.

The National Police Agency, which recently booked Commissioner Kim, who was previously under investigation as a reference, as a suspect, said it summoned Commissioner Kim yesterday (25th) to investigate him.

The police are said to have intensively investigated the deployment of police officers to the NEC against Commissioner Kim.

Earlier on the 3rd, the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency deployed more than 200 police officers to two facilities of the National Election Commission under the direction of Police Commissioner Jo Ji-ho when the emergency martial law was declared.
