President Yoon Suk Yeol will invite the leaders of the People's Power Party, including floor leader Choo Kyung-ho, and the standing committee chairman of the ruling party to the Yongsan presidential office for dinner this evening (2nd).
The ruling party officials say they understand that the president is encouraging the floor leadership and others ahead of the parliamentary audit, which begins next week.
However, it is known that Han Dong-hoon, an out-of-house representative, is not eligible to attend.
Earlier, President Yoon invited the People's Power leadership, including representative Han, to the presidential office at a dinner on the 24th of last month.
Some in the political circle observe that there could be discussions on pending issues such as the "Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act" ahead of the exercise of the president's right to demand reconsideration at the dinner.
