Opposition lawmakers and Minister Kim clashed again over Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun's profanity remarks during the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee's parliamentary audit of the Military Court.

Rep. Seo Young-kyo of the Democratic Party of Korea asked Minister Kim not to use profanity next time, and Minister Kim humbly accepted criticism, but asked him to refrain from speaking recklessly to generals in military uniforms.

Minister Kim also said that Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Sung-yoon raised his voice asking about the Marine Corps Corporal's case, saying, "Don't scream and talk."

Chung Chung-rae, chairman of the judiciary committee, told Minister Kim that speaking hard at the parliamentary inspection does not express the military's pride, and pointed out that this attitude is extremely inappropriate.

Earlier on the 8th, Minister Kim was criticized for using profanity that is demeaning to the disabled by saying that he thinks he is more "XX" if he can't talk about it in a military uniform.
