The Joint Chiefs of Staff said North Korea fired several short-range ballistic missiles into the East Sea around 7:30 this morning.
The military said that the missile launch site is in Sariwon, North Hwanghae Province, and is currently analyzing the model and flight distance.
It added that it remained fully prepared while closely sharing information with U.S. and Japanese authorities, as it increased surveillance and vigilance in preparation for further launches.
