President Yoon Suk Yeol will enter the welcoming ceremony of the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro.
President Yoon's attendance at the G20 summit has been three consecutive years since his inauguration.In the first session held under the theme of 'Social Inclusion and Combating Hunger and Poverty', President
Yoon declared his membership in the 'Global Coalition to Combat Hunger and Poverty' and said he would participate in the G20's efforts.
To respond to the African food crisis, the government will provide $10 million in new humanitarian aid within this year, and increase the amount of food aid through the United Nations World Food Program by 50,000 tons.
Above all, he stressed that the fundamental solution is economic growth in developing countries, which can only be achieved stably under the solid maintenance of a norm-based order.
At the same time, he strongly urged Russia and North Korea, which threaten the norm-based order, to immediately stop illegal military cooperation and called for the G20-level gathering of will.
