Have you got a schedule for a general strike?

[Reporter]
Yes, the Seoul Transportation Corporation union has announced that it will go on a general strike on the 6th of next month.

As of yesterday, the first labor union, the Seoul Transportation Corporation, has secured legal right to dispute as the mediation period for the labor dispute has expired and 71 percent of the votes for and against the strike have been passed.

The union set 15 days before and after the conclusion of the mandatory maintenance agreement as the Maginot Line for dialogue,
If the corporation does not change its position by
, it has said it will go on a general strike on December 6.

Currently, the union cites manpower restructuring and wage increases as reasons for the wage crisis.

As the Seoul Metropolitan Government pushes for a large-scale restructuring of 2,200 employees, or 10% of all construction employees,

He claimed that he was about to introduce a 'one-man flight' system, which is dangerous for both workers and citizens.

At the same time, the corporation said it has failed to comply with the government's wage increase guidelines for the past three years, and this year, it has effectively cut and frozen wages, let alone raised the government standard of 2.5%.

The three unions, the Right Union, will also hold a rally near City Hall tomorrow morning for industrial action to normalize wages and welfare and start voting for strikes in the afternoon.

They are demanding that the Seoul Metropolitan Government pay for the construction cost, which is a policy that the construction is currently enduring, along with the addition of 232 safety-related personnel.

In response, the corporation said it will do its best to negotiate as much time as there is before the strike so that there will be no inconvenience to citizens.
