Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, criticized the ruling party's argument that next year's budget is a problem because it did not negotiate an increase, saying, "It is absurd that the government should have submitted it to the budget if it had been needed."

CEO Lee said at the Daegu Field Supreme Council that the budget cut this time was mostly 2.4 trillion won in government reserves, and it is embarrassing that he cannot afford to live because of this.

He then asked how difficult the finances are now, how much they are planning to set aside nearly 5 trillion won in reserve funds, and if they are going to take it out and use it for any purpose at any time.

He also pointed out that the government decided to lend nearly 3 trillion won to Ukraine, and that the budget should not be spent like this, saying, "How much help will it be for the working-class economy?"
