In the people's power to impeach the president for the first time in eight years, the resignation of representative Han Dong-hoon is spreading.

Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, proposed the formation of a consultative body in which the National Assembly and the government participate together to resolve the chaos in state affairs, but the ruling party responded negatively.

Do you think the people's internal strife has been severe since President Yoon passed the impeachment bill?

[Reporter]
Yes, it's a holiday, but the internal situation of the people's power is running urgently.

Following the Supreme Council members' declaration of their collective resignation yesterday, there have been a series of public calls for the resignation of Chairman Han Dong-hoon within the party.

In response, some said that representative Han would hold a press conference and express his position on his future, but the party's press office denied it just a moment ago.

A representative official who spoke with our reporters said that it was true that a press conference at 4 p.m. was considered, but it seems that the plan has been abandoned for now.

Today, Na Kyung-won wrote on social media that it was the beginning of misfortune when Han appeared as the party's emergency committee chairman ahead of the last general election, arguing that the leadership should be disbanded.

Rep. Kwon Young-jin also set the day that traitors who took the lead in impeachment are not qualified as representatives.

In particular, the lawmakers who spoke to our reporters agreed that the representative's remarks at the assembly hall yesterday were inappropriate.

As voices of protest against representative Han, who had argued in favor of the impeachment party, the atmosphere was heated as representative Han responded, "Did I vote or did I do emergency martial law?"

Supreme Council member Jang Dong-hyuk reportedly expressed his intention to resign immediately after Han's remarks.

Of course, some in-laws are protecting Han, saying, 'Don't catch a pod' in a word, but
Not only the pro-Yoon-gye but also those classified as so-called closeness, such as Supreme Council member Jang Dong-hyuk and Young People's Supreme Council member Jin Jong-oh, expressed their resignation, and Han's representative position does not seem very wide at present.

In the morning, Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung proposed a national stability consultative body to the ruling party, but the people's power rejected it?

[Reporter]
Yes, representative Lee Jae-myung met with reporters at the National Assembly in the morning and proposed his own plan to stabilize the state affairs in the face of a suspension of presidential authority.

As a bipartisan cooperation between the National Assembly and the government, it proposed the formation of a "national stability consultative body."

He also said he spoke to Acting President Han Deok-soo yesterday and asked for neutral state administration, and that he decided not to take steps to impeach the acting president as long as he was discussing it within the Democratic Party.

Prime Minister Han also responded, but a little while ago, floor leader Kwon Sung-dong of the People's Power expressed his intention to reject it.Floor leader

said it is not right for the Democratic Party to act as if it had become the head of state administration after the president's impeachment, and stressed that the ruling party is still the power of the people.

At the same time, as we have done so far, the opposition party said it would do responsible politics as the ruling party through party-government consultations until the end of the Yoon Suk Yeol government's term, and urged the opposition to cooperate.
