In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea warned acting President Han Deok-soo not to exercise his right to demand reconsideration, or veto, on six contentious bills passed by the National Assembly alone, including the Grain Management Act.
Floor leader Park Chan-dae said at the Supreme Council, "There is a prospect that Han will exercise his veto power at the Cabinet meeting tomorrow (19th), but I will not overlook it."
Han then added that he hopes to focus on managing the situation and stabilizing the state of affairs instead of trying to act as president.
Spokesman Hwang Jung-ah also met with reporters after the Supreme Council and explained that if Han vetoed it, it would be "Season 2 of the Yoon Suk Yeol government," and that he is also working on a bill to impeach Prime Minister Han Deok-soo in case of an emergency.
