Hanwha System and the Defense Acquisition Program Administration have signed a contract for a military support project based on the performance of the K2 tank shooting control system worth 112.3 billion won.
In this military support project, Hanwha System will be in charge of follow-up military support according to the set indicators, and will be in charge of maintaining the operation and performance management of the shooting control system, which corresponds to the entire K2 brain.
The shooting control system is a device that calculates the target position and speed of the tank gun to predict the future position and help it aim in the direction of the target.
The contract period for the business is until September 2029.
