As the people's power formalizes their participation in the ruling, opposition, and government consultative body, discussions for the formation are expected to begin in earnest soon.

However, last-minute coordination on the scope of participation and how it is operated seems necessary.

I'll connect you to the National Assembly, reporter Lee Jun-yeop!

The ruling party, which was negative about participating in the consultative body, turned to participate, right?

[Reporter]
Kwon Sung-dong, acting chairman and floor leader of the People's Power Party, said yesterday that he would participate in the ruling and opposition parties' consultative body to discuss people's livelihoods and security.

On the 15th, it has been five days since Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, officially proposed the launch of the "National Political Stability Consultative Body."

However, acting Kwon stressed that he accepted the proposal made by National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik in August, not the Democratic Party's proposal.

Discussions on the formation of a consultative body will begin soon, but some predict that a last-minute battle for leadership will be inevitable over the scope and operation of the consultative body.

In the meantime, the People's Power Emergency Response Committee, which is expected to be announced early next week, is set to be a "two-top" system in which the new emergency committee chairman shares his authority with floor leader Kwon Sung-dong.

In a phone call with YTN, a key official in the People's Power Party said that there are many "one-top" opinions in which acting Kwon heads the emergency committee, but in this case, there are many voices concerned about the overload of work.

The DP continues to put pressure on Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, who is acting as president, right?

[Reporter]
Yes, acting President Han Deok-soo is demanding that the general independent counsel law for rebellion and the Kim Gun-hee independent counsel law be accepted, and a candidate for a constitutional judge for the National Assembly should be appointed as soon as recommended.

The Democratic Party of Korea urged the two major independent counsel laws to be promulgated in a hurry, saying it will not wait until the 31st, when the veto can be exercised.

Citing the possibility of acting Han's "preemptive impeachment," he held a condemnation contest and criticized the exercise of veto power on six issues, including the Grain Act.

The Democratic Party of Korea is also focusing on the process of confirming the constitutional judge's candidate for the National Assembly, including a two-day confirmation hearing from the 23rd.

The position is that three constitutional judges should be sworn in in in a hurry to hear the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol in the nine-member Constitutional Court,
Representative Lee Jae-myung,
has set the day for Han, "If you don't appoint a constitutional judge, it's an act of rebellion in itself."

So far, I've delivered it to you by the National Assembly.
