A week ago, Yoon Suk Yeol's impeachment motion was passed by the National Assembly over the weekend, but public gatherings continue.

Now, it is time for the Constitutional Court to hear the impeachment trial, and they are moving to Gwanghwamun and calling for President Yoon's dismissal.

There is a reporter on the scene. Reporter Lee Hyunjung!

I think a lot of participants have already gathered, so please tell us the atmosphere of the site.

Yes, it's cold weather, but there are already so many people that there is no end in sight and flags from various civic groups are fluttering.

Citizens are waving hand signs with "President Yoon's immediate arrest" and "the dissolution of the people's power."

This is only about 500m away from the Constitutional Court.

We gathered here to urge the Constitutional Court to hear the impeachment motion of President Yoon quickly and strictly.

The emergency action, consisting of 1,500 civic groups, including the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, began the rally at 3 p.m. at the same time.

Citizens are participating in the rally in a bright atmosphere, holding cheering sticks and candles and singing K-pop songs.

On the stage, civil solidarity speeches and various performances by men and women of all ages, including teenage students, were followed, and waves were also held.

The rally participants will march to Myeong-dong from 5 p.m. via Anguk-dong intersection, Jonggak Station, and Euljiro Entrance Station.

In front of the Constitutional Court, a cultural festival will be held from 4:30 p.m. to urge the prompt appointment of vacant constitutional judges and the immediate dismissal of President Yoon.

Emergency Action said it will hold a rally in Gwanghwamun every weekend until the Constitutional Court makes a decision.
