Shortly after the emergency martial law was declared, CCTV footage was released showing about a dozen soldiers dispatched to the National Assembly speaker's official residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul.

The National Assembly raised suspicions that martial law forces were trying to arrest Chairman Woo Won-sik, but the military explanation was that there was a request for the presidential security service.

Reporter Hong Min-ki covered it.

Soldiers walking along the road with a wall, soldiers who were put into the residence of the National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik in Hannam-dong, Seoul during the emergency martial law.

They were captured on CCTV at the mission at 1:42 a.m. on the 4th, after the declaration of emergency martial law.

About 40 minutes after the emergency martial law disappeared due to the passage of the National Assembly's resolution to lift around 1 a.m., they did not leave near the official residence.

About 10 soldiers gathered at the front gate of the diplomatic mission were also seen as if they were monitoring the surroundings, standing at intervals one by one.

Then, at around 4:30 a.m., it was not until 15 minutes after the emergency martial law was officially lifted at the Cabinet meeting.

The National Assembly released CCTV footage of their activities and demanded a clear investigation by the Ministry of National Defense into the alleged arrest of the National Assembly speaker by martial law forces.

He also pointed out that the soldiers' affiliation, command system, and level of armament remain questionable.

In response to allegations of the deployment of the martial law military chairman's mission, the Ministry of National Defense deployed unarmed soldiers to strengthen their guard at the request of the Presidential Security Service, which explained that they had nothing to do with the martial law army.

Earlier, there was a statement that the martial law army, which broke into the National Assembly, was ordered to arrest about 10 major politicians, including Chairman Woo and representatives of the ruling and opposition parties.

The National Assembly said it will actively cooperate with the investigation, such as submitting CCTV footage, if the investigation agency requests it.
