Breaking News Exports in September, 7.5% year-on-year ↑...a year in a row of increases

Exports rose more than 7% in September compared with the same period last year, marking the 12th consecutive month of year-on-year growth.

The Korea Customs Service said exports rose 7.5% to $58.8 billion in September compared with the same period last year.

Revenue was $52.1 billion, up 2.2% from the same period last year.

The trade balance continued to remain in the black for the 16th month in a row, with a surplus of $6.7 billion.
