About half of business income earners with less than 1 million won per month were found to be human service providers such as freelancers and delivery riders.

Of the 8.609 million people with monthly income of less than 1 million won among the business income reports in 2022, 44.5% were classified as tutoring instructors, insurance planners, and quick service delivery workers.

One of the two platform operators, including delivery riders, was also found to be working on other tasks, and a survey of platform workers by the Ministry of Employment and Labor found that 44.4% of them were "side-job workers" who also worked on other tasks.
