The government will legislate for two weeks from tomorrow (11th) ahead of the full implementation of the battery safety certification system and history management system in February next year.
The amendment included six detailed procedures, including the enforcement rules of the Automobile Management Act related to the two systems.
The battery safety certification system is a system in which the government tests and certifies the battery stability loaded on vehicles in advance.
In addition, the government plans to manage the entire cycle from the manufacture, use, and disposal of electric vehicle batteries through a "history management system" that gives identification numbers to each battery.
