Franchise Industry Association "Self-employed persons' two-ringing rough-and-ready agreement"

2024.11.15 AM 10:43
Following the National Council of Franchise Owners, the Korea Franchise Industry Association protested the final draft of the win-win consultative body, calling it a hasty agreement.

The Franchise Industry Association argued that the final proposal took the form of a fee cut, but that 80% of member companies could not accept it, saying that there was no significant difference before the fee increase or that it would be more expensive.

He then criticized that the reduction in commission rates was insignificant and delivery costs were raised, making it a rough-and-ready agreement that put pressure on self-employed people.

The association also called for government intervention, saying it was time for the government and parliament to consider legislative regulations such as a cap on fees.
