Mid-term, Emmons Households Ask Fair Trade Commission to Charge

2024.12.20 PM 06:33
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups has decided to ask the Fair Trade Commission to file a complaint with the prosecution against Emmons households for violating the subcontracting law.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups said that in 2021, Emmons Households unilaterally canceled the manufacture of 1.3 billion won worth of furniture handles after entrusting them to subcontractors.

He also explained that he had consigned 49 furniture parts manufacturing cases for three years from 2018, paying KRW 4.07 billion in subcontracting payments by bill and not paying KRW 30 million in discount fees.

Emmons Households was fined 360 million won by the FTC in June for this act, along with an order to prevent a recurrence.

If the Ministry of SMEs and Startups requests a complaint, the Fair Trade Commission is obligated to file a complaint with the prosecution.
