Kobaco, the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Promotion Agency, announced the "2025 New Year's Consumption Trend Outlook," which surveyed 2,000 consumers aged 14 to 69 across the country.
According to the survey, 34.7% of the products and services likely to consume more in the new year were travel, followed by 29.6% for pharmaceutical and health functional foods and 27.3% for finance.
In particular, 80.7% said they buy only what they need and refrain from buying unnecessary items as much as possible, and 89.7% said they prefer practical consumption rather than what they seem.
In addition, 87.4% of those surveyed said environmental problems were serious due to climate change, and 62.4% said they were willing to pay more to buy environmentally sustainable products.
