Since the 24th, the Daegu Metropolitan Government has organized three administrative officials into a group and put them into protective work to monitor damage near the statue of former President Park from 6 p.m. to the next morning.

In response, the Daegu City's new civil servant union criticized the employees of the year-end and New Year holidays for setting up "immiscible numbers" as it was not enough to build an anachronistic statue that most citizens opposed.
