Two out of three office workers expect an annual salary increase next year, and the expected increase rate is around 3%, according to the survey.

This is the result of Job Korea's survey of 1,639 male and female office workers from the 16th to the 23rd.

Sixty-seven percent of respondents said they expected their salaries to rise next year, with 31 percent expecting a freeze and 2 percent expecting a cut.

Considering the current economy and the company's situation, the average annual salary increase rate is 3.1%.

This was the lowest level in three years, with expected salary increases for office workers in 2022 and 2023 at 5.6% and 4.6%, respectively.

56% of respondents said that the fastest way to increase annual salary was to change jobs, and relatively few office workers chose to negotiate or promote the increase rate through personnel evaluation.
